When will either Windows support be available or a tutorial on how to get phpUnderControl running on Windows be available?
I think this is great, but I haven't been successful at getting it working.
Hello Jacob,
I thought it works under Windows, at least in my VirtualBox installation where I have spend quite some time to test phpUnderControl. It would be nice if you can give me a concrete example what's going wrong under Windows?
Sorry for the delay in the reply. When I try to install phpUnderControl again, I'll be sure to create notes on what I did, in case I encounter any problems. I remember during trying to get Trac to install (another painful installation) I had similar problems and most were my mistakes.
So, if you can get it working, then I'm sure that eventually, I'll be able to get it working. However, I would appreciate a better walkthrough for those of us who are unfamiliar with the components involved. Also, thanks for creating an awesome system, I'm sure it is excellent. Don't let my failures to get it working hold you back.
Hello Jacob,
until you are not willing to give an example, what's going wrong, I am not able to help you in any way.
It Looks fine to me. I have got linux so I don't have a problem
I had to explicitly set the second parameter too, or it tried to generate the graph's in /<date>, which is obviously wrong
Hi Sascha,
would you please be so kind and send me a config.xml file that the phpuc example /opt/cruisecontrol command has modifies. So that I have an example to detect your problem.
Where is the CLI tool when you install using the PEAR installer?
Hello Lars, sorry for my late answer I have simply forgot to answer this question
I am currently trying to get phUnderControl working on a Vista machine.
I have followed the steps described in the manual, but when i try to run the phpuc.php install command it simply opens the source of the file. I suspect that i am not using the cli tool correctly, but i am not very experienced with pear and the like. Any help would be appreciated and from what i've read here, this is the place to look for experienced advice. Thanks
Hi Kobus,
do you use a phpUnderControl version installed with pear? In that case you must execute the phpuc.bat file, but if you use a svn checkout you must call the the phpuc.php script with: c:\..\phpUnderControl\bin> php.exe phpuc.php ... Greetings Manuel |
